supported the establishment of a local tree
nursery social enterprise.
During 2023-24, after school agriculture
clubs in four schools were supported by FF.|

management of the staff of its Kenya sister
organisation, Lisha Jamii, to implement
activities in the areas of 1) school meals
provision, 2) agricultural development and
3) community mobilisation.
During the year April 2023 to April 2024,
FF’s financial support to Mukinyai
Primary School (MPS) was limited to an
emergency supply of food due to
drought, pest infestation and crop
failure. Our quick and limited response
to the temporary issue prevented the
collapse of the ongoing school meals
and this is now continuing as before.
The partnership with the_Sidai Primary_
_School community_was consolidated_._
_The Sustainable Meals and Community_
_Development Programme wa_s made up
of three sub-projects: TheSchool Meals
Project (Providing breakfast and lunch
from the school kitchen from January|
2023, and Agricultural Training for seven community groups, covering about 140 people and impacting their families.). The remaining two additional subprojects were: The 4-K Project (after school clubs in four schools), and The Tree Project (the creation of a tree nursery to grow and distribute seedlings).

was fully achieved by FF in Sidai in 2023
with a smooth transition to parents taking
responsibility for breakfasts from January
2024.
Agricultural development:Training
through individual and group tuition with
field visits was carried out as planned
and attended by the community
members.At Sidai this work has
continued with a further 119-140 farmers
being trained and with glowing reports of
farmers increasing their crop yields
between 52 to 210% following advice
and training.
Community mobilisation: At Sidai the
head teacher worked closely with
parents to turn waste land into and then
maintain a 3 acre school farm that
produces maize, cabbages, beans and a
variety of other vegetables for use in the
school kitchen. The successful transition
of breakfast provision from FF to parents
demonstrates the success of the
community mobilization / engagement.|

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 05/04/2021.
**Responsibilities and basis of report**
As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

- the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or
