**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, THE ADVANCEMENT OF SCIENCE AND PUBLIC HEALTH, IN PARTICULAR BY PROMOTING RESEARCH, EDUCATION, HEALTHCARE DELIVERY AND ADVOCACY AROUND THE CONNECTIONS BETWEEN ANIMAL AND HUMAN HEALTH AND THE ENVIRONMENT.

**Activities:** The activities of the CIO are directed towards the advancement of science and public health, in particular by promoting research, education, healthcare delivery and advocacy around the connections between animal and human health and the environment. This is achieved through awarding travelling fellowships and other related activities.
