Achievements and Performance
| SORP reference | ||
|---|---|---|
| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | In line with our objectives, the focus this year has been on building and strengthening a core team of dedicated supporters for the activities of the charity. Despite the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Trustees succeeded in bringing together a small but dedicated team of supporters who reliably administer and manage the events run by the charity, in particular public discourses and communal worship, using available technological resources like Zoom Conferencing. The beneficiaries during this accounting period included the general public in England. Attendees at events were given opportunities to learn about, sample and cultivate the practices of Krishna Consciousness, at whatever level suited their needs or preferences, as well as enjoy the healthy support of a small but growing community of like-minded explorers of spiritual practice. |
