Financial Review

Financial Review
Review of the charity’s
financial position at the end
of the period
Para 1.21 During 2024 the Trust received £0. The
Trust has been set up with a lump sum
raised from the Frome Half Marathon
between 2012 and 2016 and a small
contribution was made from the proceeds
of this event when it was taken over by The
Race Organiser from 2017 onwards. Due to
the impact of Covid-19, The Race
Organiser was only able to make a small
contribution to the Trust in 2021 and no
contribution has been made since then.
During 2024 the charity made an overall
loss as the lump sum originally donated
gradually gets allocated through grants
made.
Statement explaining the
policy for holding reserves
stating why they are held
Para 1.22 The Trust does not deliberately hold
Reserves. A lump sum was given to the
Trust at its inception and this is added to
each year. It is expected that this lump sum
will gradually diminish as grants are made
in future years.
Amount of reserves held Para 1.22 £13,189.83

reserves
