: Brooklyn continues to offer football related activities for children (6 and above) in the Ryedale area of north Yorkshire. Brooklyn has maintained participation in its activities during the year, in particular seeing further , | Success with respect to its objective to raise female participation in football. The trustees have continued to strive to maintain membership fees as low as possible in order to make the club's activities affordable for as wide a cross- section of the local community as possible. As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). | report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, | have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

Give here brief details of any items that the Analytical Review examiner wishes to This is the seventh year as a Charity. disclose. Income Income overall has decreased by £-2,367 (-4%) from the prior year mainly driven by a drop in Elite Fees of £-8,480 (-100%), due to no Elite games in the year, and partly driven by a drop in Donations income of £-3,644 (-76%) due to one large donation in the prior year. Subscription fees have increased again, by £3,544 (11%), from the prior year and Miscellaneous Income is £4,782 (466%) higher this year from various Fundraising events. There was again no income from Tournament Fees during the year. Expenditure
Overall Costs decreased by £-9,861 (-16%) mainly driven by a decrease in Elite Fees of £-8,975 (-100%), League/Affiliation Fees of £-1,845 (-35%) and Venue Hire of £-6,425 (-16%), following the drop in income mentioned above ie. no Elite games this year. Equipment costs are up this year by £3,438 (79%) from 2023. Miscellaneous costs are also up £4,789 (157%) due to a large increase in Presentation costs in 2024 (£4,574 in 2024 vs £728 in 2023), higher IT costs and new Fundraising costs.
The accounts show that the club’s cash assets are £1,754 on 31/5/24. The fundraising committee continues to be committed to helping the club raise additional funds. They are working towards increasing membership in 24/25 by 20% to help cover rising venue hire and equipment costs in order to support the club's growth and success. With their fundraising efforts, they believe they can help the club reach its goals and provide the best opportunities for its members.
