This is an extended period as it was decided by the committee that our financial year should coincide with that of the tax year.
The period was busy with a number of visits including the Haynes Motor Museum and the Oak Fair at the Stock Gayland estate. Membership remained steady with a regular hard core of some twenty five members with a total paid up membership over fifty.
Right through the year the Shed members were kept busy with a constant flow of work commissions. These included some complex carpentry work amongst the standard chair and bench restorations.
We also had a number of evening work sessions with scouting groups making simple wooden items.
We think all the jokes and wisecracks heard at the Shed during the year were the same as the year before. But none of us can remember and we don’t mind anyway.
We are certainly a busy and happy Shed that is very well thought of and well used by the community.
