Thankfully 2021-2022 saw normality return for the organisation after two busy years due to the pandemic. This has allowed us to return to our PR events, face to face socials and training. During this year we continued to develop our support units with SU03 being used on many of our own large events as well as loaned out in return for donations. It’s incredible to look back on the achievements of our members to get these units to where they are today. Our membership continues to grow and for the first time in the charity’s history, we have an equal split across both counties. As a group of trustees, we have been working hard to align our vision statement with our aims and objectives. We continue to strive to be professional and cascade this throughout the organisation. We have also commenced a DBS roll out to give our partnering agencies confidence in our team. Disappointingly, while membership is up, engagement is down. Whether this is a result of a newfound freedom following Covid we are not sure. With membership engagement we are hoping to bottom this out and move forward stronger than ever. We would like to thank the membership for their continued engagement and support, and we look forward to another successful year as we head into 2023. Investments in Equipment, Radios and PPE reduced our working capital at the start of the year. The balance started to increase as we supplied our services to other organisations and charities raising the sum of £13,603.53 In Dec our existing and new members paid their membership fee helping build the funds by a further £680.00. Donation from the Lions Club for supporting the Santa Run and other organisation, individuals and members added a further £2,129.74. All in all, we had a good year with a profit of £8030.85 We had no Debtors this year. I would like to thank the members, Committee and the Trustees for all their hard work and continued support during the year.
