Achievements and Performance

SORP
reference

Summary of the main achievements
of the charity, identifying the
difference the charity’s work has
made to the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider benefits
to society as a whole.
Para1.20 During this past year Judith:
1. Notated the Went’s Quartetto
Concertante in Bb major for Oboe,
Oboe d’Amore, Cor Anglais and
Bassoon, with reference to the urtext
parts making ready to rehearse and
print for sale at the IDRS in July 2024
with our edits and corrections.
2. Paid Michael Whight to create small
thumbnail videos from ‘Journeys +
Dreams’ and Oct 19 Kettles Yard
Videos to post on YouTube
3. In December 2023 applied for the
Lonarc Oboe Trio to participate and
perform in the 2024 International
Double Reed Society’s Annual
Convention to be held in Flagstaff
USA July 2024. To give the USA
premieres of Wents Quartetto
Concertante in Bb and Roxburghs
1984 ‘Shadow-Play’.
4. Bought IDRS annual memberships
for Judy and Joseph
5. In February 2024 we received
confirmation that LOT would be
invited to perform the Roxburgh in a
Gala evening performance and the
Went Quartetto Concertante in a
lunchtime concert.
6. Bought cotton floral concert shirts
for Adrian Rowlands and Michael
Elderkin.
7. Organised for Marc Schlossman to
take photographs of these two new
players to post on the website
8. Bought BDRS annual memberships
for Adrian and Michael.
9. Began to fund-raise to have enough
£ to purchase air-tickets and IDRS
registration for all 4 members.
10. Maintained and refreshed the concert
info on the website
11. All this work, with rehearsing bought
two major works for the oboe trio
and double reed quartet to the wider
public. Also YouTube followers had
shorter videos to view which would
hopefully encourage them to watch
and listen to the longer YouTube
videos we have already uploaded.
