REPORT OF THE TRUSTEES

The Trustees present their report along with the financial statements of the charity for the year 2023 to 2024.

Principal Activity

One Hope Foundation is a charitable legal entity in the UK with the aim to relieve poverty, deprivation and distress throughout the world. The charities main focus is to relieve suffering within the UK and Pakistan by providing clean water, access to simple medical assistance and food.

In order to complete the charities aim, projects have been setup in Pakistan over the last year to provide clean water to poor people in rural areas and the furnishing of our hospital.. One Hope foundation has also set up eye camps to treat the elderly who are unable to see and sponsored cleft lip operations on children.

REVIEW OF THE ACTIVITIES

The Trust has an office in Wolverhampton which is predominantly used for meetings and presentations. Currently, the day to day management of the trust is undertaken by Mr Shazad Butt, Mr Adnan Rafiq and Ms Nafisa Qamar with the support and assistance from the volunteers.

The funds which are raised are spent on local projects within the midlands and Cambridgeshire and also international projects predominately in Pakistan. The year 2023 to 2024 involved the following projects;

1 Water Projects 2 Food packs in the UK and Pakistan 3 Ramadhan Food Parcels Distributions in the UK and Pakistan

4 Homeless feeds in Walsall and Cambridge

5 Palestine Food distribution and Water Projects

6 Refugee assistance 7 Orphan Relief 8. Furnishing of our Hospital

FINANCIAL REPORT AND FUTURE ACTIVITIES

This was the seventh year for the charity and the financial results reflect the period between 01st April 2023 to 31st March 2024. The results for the year are set out on below. The trustees are satisfied with the financial position as at 31st March 2024. The statement of financial activities shows a surplus for the year.

STATEMENT OF TRUSTEES' RESPONSIBILITIES

Charity law requires the Trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year which gives a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the charity at the year end and its incoming resources and resources expended during the year. In preparing those financial statements, the Trustees are required to:

The Trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with the Charities Act 1993.

They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.

INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT

We report on the accounts of One Hope Foundation for the year ended 31st March 2024 set out on pages 7.

RESPECTIVE RESPONSIBILITIES OF TRUSTEES AND EXAMINER

The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of accounts and consider that an independent examination is required.

It is our responsibility to: - Examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Act - to follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 145(5) (b) of the 2011 Act); and — to state whether particular matters have come to our attention.

BASIS OF INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT

Our examination was carried out in accordance with the General Direction given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently we do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.

Balance Sheet for the Year ended March 2024

One Hope Foundation provide 100% donation policy. No expenditure claimed from charity fund. Trusties cover all expenses from their own fund. Volunteers help to run charitable activities.
