The Trustees present their report along with the financial statements of the charity for the year 1[st] April 2020 to 31[st] March 2021.

Principal Activity

One Hope Foundation is a charitable legal entity in the UK with the aim to relieve poverty, deprivation and distress throughout the world. The charities main focus is to relieve suffering within the UK and abroad.

In order to Complete the charities objectives, many projects have been setup across the world including Pakistan, France, Germany, Turkey, Morocco and Syria. Our main focus has been Pakistan due to the personal direct links the trustees have with the country.

REVIEW OF THE ACTIVITIES

The Trust has an office in Wolverhampton which is predominantly used for meetings and presentations. Currently, the day to day management of the trust is undertaken by Mr Shazad Butt, Mr Adnan Rafiq and Nafisa Qamar with the support and assistance from other volunteers.

The funds which are raised are spent on local projects within the midlands and Cambridgeshire and also international projects predominately in Pakistan.

The year 1[st] April 2020 to 31[st] March 2021 the following projects took place;

  1. Installation of Water pumps in deprived areas of the Sindh area of Pakistan.

  2. Sponsored Cataract Operations in Pakistan

  3. Homeless feeds in Walsall and Cambridge

  4. Refugee feeds within Walsall and Cambridge

  5. Food Packs distribution to Covid-19 sufferers and those suffering from the Covid-19 Lockdown.

  6. Snowdon walk to raise money.

  7. Christmas food packs and presents in Cambridge and Walsall

  8. Food packs distributed in Pakistan

  9. Foodpack distribution in Syria

  10. Continuation of the sponsoring of 7 Orphan Children in Pakistan

FINANCIAL REPORT AND FUTURE ACTIVITIES

This was the third year for the charity and the financial results reflect the period between 01[st] April 2020 to 31[st] March 2021. The results for the year are set out on page 7. The trustees are satisfied with the financial position as at 31st March 2021. The statement of financial activities shows a surplus for the year and the unrestricted funds carried forward is sufficient to maintain the Trust at its current level.

STATEMENT OF TRUSTEES' RESPONSIBILITIES

Charity law requires the Trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year which gives a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the charity at the year end and its incoming resources and resources expended during the year. In preparing those financial statements, the Trustees are required to:

The Trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with the Charities Act 1993.

They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.

INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT

We report on the accounts of One Hope Foundation for the year ended 31st March 2021 set out on page 7.

RESPECTIVE RESPONSIBILITIES OF TRUSTEES AND EXAMINER

The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of accounts and consider that an independent examination is required.

It is our responsibility to: - Examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Act - to follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 145(5) (b) of the 2011 Act); and — to state whether particular matters have come to our attention.

BASIS OF INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT

Our examination was carried out in accordance with the General Direction given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not

provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently we do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.

One Hope Foundation provide 100% donation policy. No expenditure claimed from charity fund. Trusties cover all expenses from their own fund. Volunteers help to run charitable activities.
