We are an independent charity that doesn't received any regular public funding and relies on the generous donations we receive Irom the publit. We understand the assistance needed on an individual's fertility joumey is as unique as they are. We setup The Fertility Foundation based on our overwhelming desire to help as many people as we can to either start their family. With the NHS funding cuts showing no signs of stopping we are creating a fund to provide financial assistant to individuals and couples who are struggling to afford treatment. Applications for a one-time financial fertility grant will be considered by our trustees and medical team. The generosity of our supporters has been instrumental irb enabling us to provide financial assistance for IVF treatments. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all donors for their contributions. We are pleased to report that we have successfully provided IVF grants 311owing them to pursue their dreams of starting a family. These grants have made a significant impact. covering a portion of the costs associated with fertility treatments. Review of Activities and Achievements Retall Operations Expansion We are excited to announce our retail operations expanding in March 2024 with a second shop in Waltham Cross . Goalsfor the New Shop- Increase visibility and engagement within the community- Generate additional funds to support our IVF grant programs. Create a welcoming space for individuals seeking information and support regardinE fertility. We believe this expansion will not only enhance our fundraising efforts but also serve as a vital resource for couples in the area. The Fertility Foundation is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of couples and individuals facing fertility challenges. With the continued support of our donors and the expansion of our retail operations. we look forward to increasing our impact in the community.

In preparing those financial statements, the trustee5 are required to: Select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently- Make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent,. State whether applicable accounting standards and statements of recommended practice have been followed, subjert to any departures drsclosed and explained in the financial statements,. and Prepare the financial statements on the going concem basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the charity will continue in operational existence. The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting retords which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the Charitable Incorporated Organisation and to enable them to ensure that the fiftancial statements comply with the Charities Act 2011. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of thè Charitable Incorporated Organisation hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities. Management and governance arrangements Were there a requirement for new trustees. these would be identified and appointed by the remaining trustees. The chair of trustees is responsible for the induction of any new trustee which involves awareness of a trustee's responsibilities, the governing document, administrative procedures, the history and philosophical approach of the charity. A new trustee would receive copies of the previous yearfs annual report and accounts and a copy of the Charity Commission leaflet The Essential Trustee= What You Need to Kno. The trustees annually review the risks the charity faces. To date these have mainly related to investment management. tax rules and risk areas relating to employment of staff which have been covered by proper procedures and advice. Independent examiner The trustees intend to ask the existing examiner to undertake the independent examination of the Trust in the following year. The charity's trustees consider that an audit is not reouired for this year under section 144121 of the Charities Act 2011 Ithe 2011 Act) and that an independent examination is needed. Accounting policies 1.1 Basis of Preparation The accounts have been prepared on the historical cost convention using the accruals basis with itern5 recognised at cost or tran$3ction value unless otherwise Stated. The financial st3tements have been prepared in accordance with the Statement of Recommended Prartice. 1.2 Assessment of Going Concern Preparation of the accounts is on a going concern basis. The Trustees consider that there are no material uncertainties about the Charivs ability to continue as a going concern. 1.3 Incoming Resources These are recognised when the Charity becomes entitled to the resources, the tru5tee5 are certain they will rèceive the resource and the monetary value can be measured with sufficient Income is reported gross. 1.4 Resources Expended These are recognised when there is a legal or constructive obligation committing the Charity to pay the resource. 1.5 Unrestricted Funds These funds can be used for the general objectives of the Charity. 1.6 Restricted Funds These funds are where the original donor has specrfied a purpose for the donation made. It includes any Gift Aid recovered on the donation. Expenditure incurred for that specific purpose is offset against the fund. 2.
