	The Sunseeker London Charitable Trust (SLCT)carries out its purpose by supporting existing charities that meet the charitable objective. The board oftrustees exercise their discretion when assessing formal applications from existing charities, considering which applicants best further the SLCTobjectives giving the greatest public benefit and considering the effectiveness ofthe project.

	Discussions with Teens Unite focus upon a Respite Centre for Teenagers with Cancer. The planning applications forthe Respite Centre have been
	rejected by the Council and SLCT continue to support the planned
	appeal. This project will welcome all young people suffering with cancer regardless ofpersonal background, gender, faith or personal
	background.
	A grant was awarded to the Princess Alexandra Hospital Trust. The grant contributed to the cost ofresearch nurses to perform vital clinical triials
	within the Breast Cancer unit and provided patients with access to
	com limenta thera ies not otherwise availableon the NHS.
