The 3 sided sculpture celebrates<br>Charles Rolls and the first lnternational Aviation Meeting<br>of 1910 and links events with aviation today using the<br>theme of Rolls-Royce aero engines.<br>**Archive**of information held on loan by the Heritage Zone<br>at Bournemouth Central Library.<br>**Events**Two events this year – one a stall with newly<br>acquired display boards and roller banner at the local<br>church summer fayre and the other at our annual<br>commemoration which we host at the memorial plaque to<br>Charles Rolls in the private grounds of St Peter’s School.<br>**Publications**Three newsletters were issued. The CRHT<br>book ‘Bournemouth The Aviation Pioneers and Rolls of<br>Rolls-Royce’ sells in small quantities via Amazon and at<br>talks. A reprint of our 8 page booklet provides a lower<br>cost sale. A free trifold provides a short summary of the<br>Trust, Rolls and the Meeting|

|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|Eight talks were given by a Trustee in person to<br>various community organisations which included<br>one on Rolls, one on the meeting of Rolls and<br>Royce (120thanniversary) and 6 other talks<br>prefaced by a slide explaining the Trust.<br>The four planned newsletters were reduced to<br>three because of time available to give to the Trust.<br>The heritage sculpture has performed well in its site<br>which gives excellent public access, adjacent to a<br>bus stop, car park and cafe at Hengistbury Head on<br>the eastern boundary of the 1910 airfield. The<br>materials chosen for the structure have stood up<br>well to the challenging weather conditions. An<br>article about the heritage sculpture and its unveiling<br>was published in ‘The Journal’ of the Rolls-Royce<br>Heritage Trust.<br>Some artefacts are held by Trustees and displayed<br>when public events make this appropriate. A major<br>artefact of a private photo album containing unique<br>pictures of the 1910 aviation meeting was acquired<br>in November 2023 but paid for in FY24/25|
