The 3 sided sculpture<br>celebrates Charles Rolls and the first lnternational<br>Aviation Meeting of 1910 and links events with<br>aviation today using the theme of Rolls-Royce.<br>**Archive**of information held on loan by the Heritage<br>Zone at Boumemouth Central Library.<br>**Events**In August we were hosted by RREC (Northern<br>Section) to display our exhibition boards at the<br>‘Passion for Power’ event held at Tatton Park near<br>Manchester. Our annual commemoration was held at<br>the memorial plaque to Charles Rolls in the private<br>grounds of St Peter’s School.<br>**Publications**Three newsletters were issued. The<br>CRHT book ‘Bournemouth The Aviation Pioneers and<br>Rolls of Rolls-Royce’ sells in small quantities via<br>Amazon and at talks.<br>**Photo Album**The Trust became aware of an auction<br>for a private photo album which purported to show the<br>last flight of Rolls and other photos of the 1910<br>aviation meeting. Whilst bidding went to the expected<br>price, (double what Trustees had agreed) the album<br>was later offered to the Trust and purchased. Whilst<br>the Trust does not specifically purchase memorabilia,<br>the significance of these photos were important and<br>have been featured in the Trust’s newsletter.|
