## **Binhamy Castle Trust** 

**Annual Report for the period 5-10-2 to 5-10-22** 

The Trust received guidance regarding the future management of the Castle site from a Cornwall-based Environment and Land Management Advisor.  The Advisor suggested means by which the site could be protected and interpreted for visitors. 

As a priority, the Advisor suggested addressing any trees which could pose a danger to those visiting the site.  Accordingly, Sharp Tree Surgeons were contracted to fell a number of older, potentially dangerous trees in September 2022. 

Negotiations were opened regarding the implications of further planning consents adjacent to the site. 

Other expenses included signage and an advertising our Annual General Meeting in a local newspaper. 

The funds stand at £53,046.58
