Great Chishill Windmill Trust (GCWT) is managed by the Trustees through regular Trustee meetings and specific Trustee roles (Fundraising HH / JW), Guiding (NH), Technical (NP), Finance (HH / JG) and Historical Support (DMcK)). Each of these Trustee roles is further supported by individuals from approximately 20 volunteers.
New Trustees are recruited based upon their interest and enthusiasm to support the objectives of the GCWT. Trustees are most usually individuals who live in a village close to
the windmill and who have been involved in GCWT activities for a number of years and hence are known to existing Trustees.

The GCWT maintains a reserve fund in anticipation of future more significant costs to maintain the windmill.
Beneft of the GCWT actvites
The GCWT objectives have been met during the year such that the windmill can be enjoyed by the public. In addition to enjoyment of the site (picnics, photography etc) the history, workmanship and historical aspects of the windmill have been shared.
