Charity name: TingLey Athletic FC Limited
Charity registration number: 1174539

Objectives and Activities
The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation, particularly the
provision of facilities for the playing of association football in the Tingley area.
The club has run football teams for both Girls and Boys football teams from under 7s
through to Open Age. We provide competitions for aLI age groups and offerfurther
opportunities for individuals to deveLop knowLedge and experience in the field of team
managing and coaching. We have continued to provide football activities for those
chiLdren underthe age of 7 or newto footbalLthrough our Saturdaysoccer Academy
and the girls Wildcats programs.
In addition to thesejuniorteams, we have maintained open age maLe teams for this
season. We encourage the footbaLlfor all approach of fair play and sportsmanship, and
we praise effort and performance more than results.
The Trustees keep in mind the Charity Commission's guidance on pubLic benefit at all
Trustee and manger / coaches, meetings.
The club could not function without the hard work and commitment of our volunteers.
Trustees, Managers, Coaching and Grounds Staff all give up their free time to help make
our cLub run.
Achievements and Performance
During the 2024125 season we affiliated twenty-two junior boy's teams, eLeven girl's
teams and one open age men's team, totaLling 473 players. We were able to safely
provide training and matches for our players. Through the club's activities we have
provided a healthy recreation for our players.
The club has continued to see an increase in players this season and as such we have
kept an extended portfolio of 11v11 pitches through Leeds city council and currentLy
rent Spinkwell & East Ardsley recreation ground on Saturday & Sunday mornings to
ensure we have the capacityfor our players.
The club has continued to invest in our facilities with improvement projects at The
Crescent and Cave Lane this has been funded through the FootbalL Foundation via a 6-
year Grant we are currently in our fifth year.
This year we also introduce FA Comets this is a recreational pan-disability football
programme for children aged 5-11. It's designed to be inclusive and fun. focusing on
playfulness, friendships, and allowing children to just be themselves The program
offers a flexible and safe environment where children can play football, build
confidence, and develop social relationships.

Another great achievement this year, TingLeyAthLetic FC was awarded Three Star
Accreditation by the FA. This is the highest level of accreditation awarded to non-
professional football clubs, we are one of only 10 clubs in our County to be awarded 3
stars, with only 3 % of grassroots cLubs in the country having been awarded 3 stars.
This is testament to aLI the hard workthat has gone into our Club from every singLe
volunteer so from alL the Trustees. a huge thank you to everyone, you all make this club
a fantastic place forthe kids in our communityto grow.
This year was Tingley Athletics 50" Birthday and to celebrate this the trustees decided
to give back to the community, we donated 50 easter eggs to our Local hospital in
Wakefield, we also held a very successful event in May 2025 where we had over 400
peopLe attend, this was not to make profit. this was to bringthe club & the surrounding
community together to celebrate, it was a huge success.
We WILI continue our vison for the rest of the year with hopefully more giving back to the
local community.
The Club trustees would once again like to thank all our players, parents, coaches &
volunteers fortheir hard work and support this year, without them we would not be the
club we are.
