Para 1.20
The grant funding that we have received this
year for the Breakfast Hub has allowed us to
provide free breakfast to our community.
We open the Church to the most vulnerable.
These include ex-offenders, those struggling
with addiction, unemployed, lonely and
Isolated. Some of them say that if it wasn't
for the cooked breakfast, they would not
have a hot meal or sometimes any meal that
day. Most people visit our hub, not only for a
hot meal, but to socialise and connect wrth
others.
Through the Hub we have been able to
assist in making it possible for 2 of the Hub
members to go to rehabilitstion, as they had
come to the point of wanting to change their
Ilves for the better and the first step for that
was golng to rehab,

Demand over the year has grown, especially
with the cost-of-livlng crisis, seelng at least
3040 people every day.
We buy our produce locally and are
therefore making a difference to local
business owners.
We previously purchased laptops from
grants, and these are utilised to be able to
provide support with employment and
training. We work with partner agencies who
provlde Work Club, Citizens Advice, skills
development and training sources. We also
partner with agencies who offer support for
those struggling with addiction - Barod and
Challenge Valleys.
We run throughout the year, supporting
many people throughout the winter season
with a hot meal, hot refreshments and winter
items to support. We offer a warm,
welcome envlronment and a safe space.
Amongst its many other community-based
actNities, NLCC successfully runs a Food
Pantry which Is again accesslble to all
members of the community. All the food In
our pantry is donated locally by church
members and local communlty. We offer not
only food but toiletries and sanitary products
as well.
The financial support given to CAM Rwanda
has rnade a real difference to the lives of the
Teen Mothers and their children as they
dally attend the Earfy Development Centre
where they are taught and fed. Lives are
being changed across the world due to this
financial support.
NLCC also sponsor a chlld from CAM
Rwanda, we believe we are transfoming the
life of thi8 young glrl and her family with the
financial support she receives.
The church Is growlng In its Impact on our
communty, this Is evldent In the amount of
people who come in. The Pastor, Leadership
Team and Trustees are very happy with the
service given to the public within our
community and look forward to many more
years of being able to carry out such
accom
Ilshments.
