Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document
Learn Achieve Become aims to deliver inclusive & non-discriminatory projects within the fields of education, sports & community work to help tackle social/environmental issues. In addition to this, Learn Achieve Become also aims to raise awareness of social/environmental issues across the world via social platforms.
In pursuit of these objectives, Learn Achieve Become shall:
- Provide free educational classes and courses to the general public. - Provide support and new opportunities to disadvantaged individuals & communities at their request.

- Provide free sports classes and courses to the general public. - Create & manage new facilities of education, sports or community welfare.
- Aid with sustainable & community-driven environmental conservation efforts.
- Create video documentaries & written articles to increase public awareness of worldwide social & environmental issues.
- Form mutually beneficial partnerships with schools, businesses, universities & other non-profit organisations to combat & raise further awareness of social/environmental issues.
Since our previous annual report for the years of 2020-2021, L.A.B have managed to undertake certain projects and activities which have provided benefit to the public. Although, our projects haven’t been delivered to the scale in which we’d hoped for due to the lingering effects of the COVID19 pandemic.
Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)
Our most notable project in this time frame occurred between May-July 2021, where we delivered a ’50 days of change’ project across Costa Rica, Nicaragua & Guatemala. Here, we intended to benefit up to 500 people over the span of 50 days, through free education & sports initiatives. In total, we managed to reach 490 individuals by the end of the project.
Additionally, L.A.B has carried out further activities in pursuit of our aims, these include:
- Forming partnerships with X2 UK primary schools
- Having our project in Madagascar visited by the British Embassy
- Maintaining our partnerships with UK based universities
- Delivering a free educational project in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico.

Summary of the main Throughout 2021/2022, our main activities have included: achievements of the charity during the year - Delivering a ’50 days of change’ project, in which we reached 490 individuals in Costa Rica, Nicaragua & Guatemala. - Hosted a visit from the British Embassy of Madagascar in regards to our upcoming pilot project. - Hosted our ‘connecting classrooms’ school partnership program at 3 UK schools - Hosted our ‘Academics for change’ program at 1 UK university – Through which we received strong support for potential future volunteers - Supported other smaller international non-profits with their administrative & educative tasks - Renovating our social platforms & tidying up our administrative procedures - Liaised with all of our international partners on the ground to ensure our international projects are able to resume as soon as possible - (Currently Ongoing) Delivering a project to support children affected educationally by the COVID-19 pandemic named ‘Escuelita en la playa’
