Charity) for the 12-month ￿"Od ending 30 June 2021. The Twslees confimi that the
Annual Report and finall￿al stslemenls of the Charty comply wth the oajrrent
statutory requirements, the requirements of the Ch￿ty'S goveming dcojment and
the wovisions of the Stslement of Recommended Practice (SORPI "A￿Unting and
Reporting by CharitiW issued in March 2015.
Thrsk and Northallgrton ￿OnS Club Chanty r￿Istered as a Charitsble lrncryr*ed
Organisation on the 5° September 2017. The Club Charter was tranSfer￿j to Ihe
new Clofrom 1 April 2018.
The Constitution 5tiwlates that the nwrrimum nwnber of tnjstees shall be Ihree arKI
the Ma￿MuM ts¥elve. The PresidenL Se¢xeW and Treasurer are all mandalory
trustees. Any member taknng up those ryjsts must be tNst8e. TtE pro￿$$ for
appointment of trustees is stipulated in the ￿$titUtion. A Trustees, meeb.ng is held
when required, and in any ease every tsvo months. This meetiro managgs the
goverrTrance of the dub as set out under the CharilatrAe ItX4MF)oratgJ o￿anIsa￿.0n
Constitution.
The Charity's insurance requirements are covered under knons aubs International
ulb.ple District 105 insurance arrangements.

The trustees ¢xJnfim they have complied wtth the duty in section 4 of the CharTties
Act 20￿ to have due regard to the Charity Commission's gen￿￿ guidance on wblic
benefrt 'Charities and Public Benefiv. This year the CIO have continued to pwvidè
pU￿1C benefit, and we will explain how this Ips been ath.eved in ￿"$ reporL
All the administration expenses of the CIO are deat ￿ thrc￿h the 'Administr8tion
Accouny the balance of which does not indude any rmney ra5ed from members of

The CIO has a grant maknng pc4icy. 811 aFylic8b"ons considered by the trustees at
U*ir meetings. The tnjstees then make recommervjab.ons which are considered by
all the mernt￿S of thè CIO. The prcKedure fcy this prc*xs is outlÉned within the
constitution.
In this 12-month wod the dub has had Ir￿ome of £1.629, which was d(Thvn on the
previous year5 as the dub had either inath.ve in rdation to fijndraising for
periods of time durirKJ the Covid Pandemic, or have hdd smal fiJn¢*aising initiatives.
Our largest annual fu￿￿￿1$Ing events were again W}￿lIed. One of those
events, the Santa SI￿gh was held as nom￿[ PLrt withwt dcmng the House-t￿H0use
collection we would normally do. did tKywever rase a small sum thrcugh oNine
appeals.
We continued to provtde service acbvities whwe p)S￿ble including members of the
dub assisting with communty activities 5UFportsro the vulnerable and assisb.ng at
vacanalion and t4cx)I ccAlecting sessiMs.
The CIO donated £1,1661o Ltons Clttjs Intemalional Chailies during this pwiod.
The CIO have supported local causes to the sum of £1,109.98. induding d￿atIng
£1(NJ to l>olh Northallerton F¢M share and Thirsk atx*works (Focrfj Bank}, and
£4EA to the Friarage H05Pital Renal Vnit for the PLrthase of 2 ipads for use on the
renal unit
