AREA OF BENEFIT") TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR
RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE
WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE INHABITANTS OF
THE AREA OF BENEFIT IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PRESERVATION,
PROMOTION, SUPPORT, ASSISTANCE AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE EASTBY RECREATION
GROUND.

The CIO has power to do anything which is calculated to further its objects or is conducive
or incidental to doing so. In particular, the CIO'S powers include power to:
1. provide a Forum for exchanges of views and requirements of benefit to the
recreation ground.
Our Facebook group continues to be a great way to share information.
b. Embsay with 'Eastby Environmental. Action Group, are as51Sting in managing
and planning enwronmental aspects of the playground.
raise funds for the development of the recreation ground.
No activity during this year as the current trustees have indicated they wish
to retire and have been actively seeking replacements.
monitor the recreation ground in support of the maintenance work of the Parish
Council.
a. The Playground is tidy, well maintained and is regularly used by children,
families and adults.

beds, comp05t bins as well as planting to improve the appearance and
environment of the playground area.
