achievements ofthe charlty
during the year
Statue and information board
The statue and information board outside ARC in central
Winchester continue to be a great success. The link from the
infomation board to further infomiation on our website is being
regularty accessed by visitors to the statue.
Book
Our book, Licoricia of Winchester.. Power and Prejudice in medieval
England, continues to sell well, both in the UK and abroad.
Lessons for schools
Hampshire County Council's Impovement and Advisory Service
(HIAS) has completed our lessons for primary schools. The lessons
provide a novel introduction to the middle ages, and teach important
lessons for today about challenging prejudice. The lessons, which
join our existing lessons for secondary schools, are available from
HIAS and our website.
Leaflets
Our leaflets are popular and are distributed at all major Wnchester
tourist destinations. To date we have distributed in the region of
26,000.
Publicity
Our website remains popular. It has received over 23,000 visits
since its inception and is regularly updated.
Licoricia continues to have a very positive effect and the Irustees
are committed to continue this into the future.

Financial review
Brlef ststement ofthe
charity's poliGy on reserves
The charity's main aim is to maintain sufficient reserves to fulfil our aims
now that the statue has been successfully erected. We wish for example
to reprint the book regularly when stocks become low. Any further
events and materials are expected to require further fundraising as
necessary if they are signrficant. Trustees do not intend to allow the
charity to run at a deficrt.
