Ob"ectives and activities
To offer free support and help to families of children with individual
needs, for example., disabilities and social and financial needs. The
Sensory Zone has independent access and is fully equipped with
disabled toilet, nappy changing facilities and fffreshmenl facilities. The
Sensory Zone will be open lo all looking for help, advice or Just a cup of
tea and a friendly ear.

Main Activities are..
Sensory Room - available for small groups or individual access. This
could be for assessment, general relaxation or sensory stimulation
Meeting room available for small groups or individual address such as
meetings with healthcare professionals e.g. Team Around the Child
{TAC) meetings, small group workshops such as baby massage and craft
sessions, training opportunities such as First Aid, coffee mornings for
advice and discussion.
Resource Library- offering temporary use of resources such as bumbo I
orthopaedic seats, activity centres.

Holding successful fundraising events.
Providing access to The Sensory Zone facilities I resources free of
charge to the registered members of the sensory zone on request

The Covid-19 Pandemic has meant that fundraising events could not be
held although some donations were accepted.
Miniature music and speech and language sessions resumed after
lockdown lifted.
