CHARITY ACTIVITIES

3. ANNUAL REPORT
This yeaz we have continued woilung as a parttter with TIPP at the CFO Activity Hub$ a¢ross Yori<yhirè. So many
combinèd arts project8 have been created from using condu¢livè paint to play sounds. lo podcagts and knitted
bunting.
Thzough the collaborationwith TIPP we have been able to create newpaTtnet$hipworkingwith Oth￿ organioation8
and proje¢t¥.
We have ragister&d as a piint worked for the 20:20 ￿lD1 Ez¢hangè for 2023. Lols of lesso￿ have been leamed
about thè bèst way to this logiBtically Trn the future, but across all hubs we wbmitted 25 entsies. This was open
to 8tsff and patticipantB- 7 facililat¢m and hub staff joined and 18 participants.
Another newcollaboiationthisyaarwaswith theyatndale WoTldwide Frojeci. P8rti¢ipants at Sheffield Hub ￿eated
Itnitted and crocheted bunting for the exhibition in support ofthi8 year'$ ¢hos8n charity Oxfam.
We had atttst￿r successful year of Koe$tler SVInne￿ (although we submitted less entries overall) with I Silvei and
2 Commended Awards. This continues to be a goodway to showcase projects beyond the wa]]s of the hub.
Our 'Blind Dato with a Book, fundraiser has continued this year. There are multiple benefits frorn this. We have
been able to train paTticipants to vnap the books as part of their charity Work. At the ¢raft fairs we are able to T8]8•
our profile andengage wAth Members ofthe community aswell as receive morè donations ofbooks. Going forward
il will be the aim to look into how this project can engage directly vJith HMP Wakèileld- either I￿OUgh running
se88ion8 to ￿aP books or through 8e]]ing Ihem/donating them through vigit8/tamily days.
Dè#pite changes to the st￿cture of the Wakefield Artwalk. we were still able to exhibit ai th8 July event - the
conductive paint music ple￿ was the kughlTrght, alongsidè French knitted StaTry Night piece.
The ￿st two year8 feèl like something of an evidence building Process to tèxt projacts, and make connectionswittL
new and relevant organisation8. With all this we cart start looking folv￿ld and begin to apply for fimding
opportUDitie8 to build on theye initial suc¢eJ¥e¥.
