## TRUSTEE REPORT 

## THE YEAR ENDING 1ST SEPTEMBER 2022 

During the period of September 2021- August 2022 Sri Lankan Educational Foundation (SLED) has helped out lots of vulnerable children in Sri Lanka. Most of the planned projects were successfully finished and handed over to the communities; we can see the differences it has made on the children. 

The finished projects are; 

1. School uniforms & exercise books for the new school terms for children whose parents are in financial difficulties have been purchased. 

Ongoing projects are; 

1. Build a water tank for the primary school in Ratnapura, similar to that already constructed last year. 

2. Uniform recycling - ongoing - donation from city schools 

3. scholarship program -  10 selected students benefit from new school year 2021. 

4. sport item donation - Volleyballs / bat/ bags/ balls - from old boys and girls 

We are getting help from the UK based Sri Lankan communities for build charities financial strength as well as supports and advises. This ensure that outreach the activities for the benefit of the children and young people in need. We hope & dream for the next financial year is that all children and young people within the remit of the commitment of SLED will feel helpful, achievable and encouraged to be what they dream.
