Structure, Governance and Management
Christ Inspired is governed by a Board of Trustees in accordance with its constitution. During the reporting period, the charity was managed by four trustees who were responsible for overseeing all activities, ensuring good governance, and complying with the charity’s objectives and legal requirements. The charity also benefited from the support of four volunteers who assisted in carrying out its work.
Objectives and Activities
The charity’s purpose is to advance the Christian faith and promote community welfare by showing care and compassion to those in need and by inspiring young people to reach their full potential.
Category 1: Care and Compassion
The charity aims to support people in need through its charitable activities. This includes visitation to the sick in hospitals and to elderly residents in care homes, providing comfort, companionship, and spiritual encouragement.
Category 2: Inspire Network
The Inspire Network seeks to empower young people to fulfil their potential. Activities include, but are not limited to, providing academic support to improve GCSE grades, creating voluntary opportunities, offering mentorship programmes, and organising career and education seminars.
Achievements and Performance
During the period, the charity maintained its commitment to community support and youth development. Although financial activity was limited, the trustees continued to plan and coordinate charitable engagements, build partnerships, and encourage volunteer participation.
The Inspire Network continued to provide opportunities for young people to receive guidance and mentorship, while the Care and Compassion team strengthened outreach to vulnerable members of the community.
Financial Review
For the financial year ending 06 December 2024, the charity reported:

The trustees confirm that no significant financial transactions took place during the period. The charity remains solvent and continues to operate through volunteer efforts and in-kind support. The trustees are satisfied that the charity is managing its limited resources responsibly.
Reserves Policy
Given the current level of financial activity, the charity does not hold any reserves. The trustees will review this policy annually as the charity’s income and expenditure increase.
Public Benefit Statement
The trustees confirm that they have complied with their duty under section 17(5) of the Charities Act 2011 to have due regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit. The activities of Christ Inspired are undertaken wholly in pursuit of its charitable objectives and for the benefit of the public.
Plans for the Year Ahead
The charity plans to continue and expand its outreach through hospital and elderly home visits, as well as to develop the Inspire Network’s educational and mentoring programmes. Efforts will be made to strengthen partnerships with local schools, churches, and community groups to increase engagement and impact.
