we have continued to liaise with
partners in the area to identify the
main areas of concern for our clients.
Our overall aims and work of our
organisation have remained the same
despite the level of lockdown the
national lockdown.
During lockdown we have ensured
that whilst adhering to national
guideline the ofce has remained
open (for shorter hours but always
contactable via phone, Facebook
or email) however we did have to
provide a reduced service – this
was focussedon supporting all
members of the neighbourhood to
navigate the rules in place and the
local issues that were raised.
We continued with our Streetwise
newsletter to include a Covid Update
fyer which we circulated to every
home (3500) which provided support
and information
We are working with clients to identify
how we can bring the communities
together to reduce the levels of
apprehension.
We have developed our conversation
ad friendship groups and these
activities go from strength to
strength. This is still early days but
the feedback from individuals has
been very encouraging.
Across the neighbourhood a main
area of concern is the continuing
mess caused by fy tipping and other
environmental issues. Our work with
residents involved in the Community
Champions network continue to
develop and help deliver community
activities to pin point hot spots and to
encourage through education
residents who may not be aware of
the ‘norm’ in waste disposal and
recycling.
The cultural mix of the area continues
to become more complex with a large
number of people from Eastern
Europe choosing this area to be their
home. This has raised concerns

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended **23 August 2020** .
## **Responsibilities and basis of report**
As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
## **Independent examiner's statement**
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
- the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or
- the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or
- the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
