Spiritual Report April 2023 to April 2024.

The year 2023 to 2024 was memorable and very eventful. God blessed the church with both numerical and spiritual increase. At a time, the church grappled with the challenges of giving support with the goal of integrating the brethren who migrated from Nigeria to UK.

As a charity organisation, we assisted the migrants with financial support, counselling, prayers, advice so as to make their relocation to UK less stressful and integrate them into the church, community and the society at large. As a small church, we did the best we could, knowing our limited financial strength. I am aware that our best may not be good enough but as the Shepherd, I ensured I lifted every member up in prayers so that God who is faithful, in our shortcomings supplied the needs of the brethren.

During the year, we embarked on building a befitting place of worship for our children. This project drained the church resources as a result of incompetent artisans that made us do the same work repeatedly three to four times. The supplier of the prefabricated building for the children church were unscrupulous and took advantage to exploit the church. I am glad to say that the children church is now over 95% completed. The church toilet facilities have also been upgraded.

The church had our regular Sunday church services except once, the day after we celebrated our Assistant Pastor for her Diamond Jubilee. We equally had our monthly night vigil except on two occasions. We had virtual night night vigil once and the second time, the turn up of the members was very poor.

Early in 2023, Rhema church also known as the French Church, Foursquare Gospel Church, discontinued the regular joint Sunday worship with us. They however identified fully with us during special occasions like the crossover night among others.

On Power and Authority WhatsApp platform, we communicated and shared each other burdens. We also celebrated one another especially on special occasions like birthdays. The platform enables us to hold virtual meetings and fellowship.

CONCLUSION :

The year 2023 to 2024 has been a year of significant increase numerically, spiritually and financially. We experienced progress on every side. To God be the glory.
