Lord's Larder Chard- The year 2023 2023 was for the Lord's Larder rhe busiest since our records began in 2016. We were able to give out 2094 b3BS of food in the year serving 937 families with an average of 78 families hèlped per month. Our supportets continued their generosity maintaining their eiving both practically and financially so much so that we were able maintain our level of support for those needing our help as in previous vear5 We beftefitted from the"Fa￿Share / Tesco November promotlon" when we received 2893 Items weighlng 1.3 ionnes which fllled over 2Crf) bags for our cllents. Volunteers enjoyed thelr ￿me maklng the Lord's Larder known at Tesco'$ and meeting customers. giving out leafiets Eave a boost to donations received Thls year we agaln Ofganlsed a Chrlstmas toy collection for families ieferred to us by schools and support agencies. Lois of toys were donated and a small company raised £6￿0 and then bought a van load of toys for us. 251 children were given toys and then in a la5t-minute emergency 4 families were helped wlth both toys and food stuff purchased by the L5 L ensuring that they had enough over the Christmas period. We trust that our volunteer5 and generou5 SUPPOrter5 wlll have made 2023 a little better for those StTuggllng f3milie5 and Individuals whom we were able to help
