Research confirmed that “The Shared Parenting Contact Centre” opened on 4[th] May 1996, later changing its name to Birmingham Child Contact centre in 2011. We will celebrate our 30[th] anniversary with an event planned for 9[th] May 2026. Building on 2023 achievements, 2024 saw further increases in children and families who have been supported to enjoy the company of parents or family members who they cannot meet at any other times. BCCC’s success has also led to waiting lists, cementing its important place within the community. We have received the first of our new three-year grant Session volunteer numbers have increased, finance and Content skills were also added. We salute and appreciate their continued enthusiasm, knowledge and contribution. External training for Safeguarding, abuse and other subjects was also delivered.
