ANNUAL REPORT 2022 (Jan 2022 to Dec 2022)
2022 – Five Years Old and First Full year of Operation.
This current version of BCCC began when the previous versions (BCCC and BCCCC) closed in March 2017.
Full charity status was gained in August 2017 Surprisingly, due to fundraising, NACCC Accreditation, Covid, etc, 2022 became BCCC’s first full year of operation.
Despite the challenges presented by Government Legal Aid reductions, Covid and courts tending to err on the side of caution, by recommending Supervised Contact (BCCC is a Supported Centre), BCCC provided 58 children and their non-resident parent with 47 separate weekly sessions.
Volunteers have increased from 6 to 15, including students seeking to enhance their Family Law knowledge and observe how the system works from the opposite side of the legal spectrum. They have brought a rich source of diverse ideas and alternative views, contributing to BCCC’s future. Our new ICT Coordinator has made significant contributions to BCCC’s
systems, security, and performance.
An external training event was attended by ten volunteers covering 50% of NACCC modules and plus a Management Team building exercise was Our Finances t d
