## _**Highlights and achievements**_ 

## _**Covid Challenge Over Looking Forward to a Bright Future!**_ 

_Our 2020 Annual Report stated that BCCC would hibernate_ 

_face to face contact until Spring. With various lockdowns etc., BCCC finally opened again on 4[th] September 2021 From this date we have received family contact requests on a consistent basis. In the three months to December 31[st,] , 12_ 

_children were recorded and booked, the equivalent of 36_ 

_family sessions. It is not yet where we would like to be, but an encouraging start, nonetheless._ 

_In the intervening time, BCCC took the decision to ensure our toys, equipment and organisation were fit for purpose. Investments in IT hardware and software have been made and their fruits will affect 2022 onwards._ 

_Safety and safeguarding are an essential part of BCCC’s ethos, it was decided to ensure that all pertinent roles would be trained in “First Aid with Paediatrics” run by the Red Cross; not just one per team._ 

_BCCC’s cohort of four volunteers was increased to six. This will increase further as time progresses. Ensuring that the quality of contact support is enhanced enables the leadership team to concentrate on the Charity’s primary goals. It is important to recognise that without the support and patience of our Grantholders, BCCC would not be in the positive position it is in. To that end, we salute our Volunteers, our families and our Grantholders!_
