**Objects:** TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF PUPILS AT SIR JOSEPH WILLIAMSON'S MATHEMATICAL SCHOOL BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES (NOT REQUIRED TO BE PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY) FOR THE EDUCATION AT THE SCHOOL.

**Activities:** The 1701 Society provides support for the educational activities of children at Sir Joseph Williamson's Mathematical School in Rochester. Largely supported by former pupils, as well as current and former parents, it allows those who have an affinity to the school and hold it in high regard to make a regular donation which supports the current pupils at the school.
