The objects of the CIO are supported by the following activities:

**Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)**

- (1) Public performances booked by third parties for community or other benefit.

- (2) Performances arranged by the CIO independently or jointly with another organisation.

- (3) Providing facilities which promote the practice and enjoyment of the art of music for recreational well-being, through encouragement and support of the musical development of others.

- (4) Making of grants and donations.

In the planning of the activities, the trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit.

WorleWind Band became a recognised charity on 10[th] August 2017. All policies and procedures are reviewed, updated where necessary and reapproved by the Trustees annually.

There were no significant updates to existing policies in 2023. To support our objectives around inclusion and accessibility for our players and audiences, this year has seen the purchase of two ramps to assist wheelchair users in accessing our activities, where access poses an issue. These have proven a great addition used on three separate occasions this year.
