## **Review of activities and achievements:**

Our two Sunday services and midweek meetings have continued. The morning congregation being 40-50 with around 30 in the evening. We have 38 members with regular new visitors. We have continued to live stream our morning services making them available worldwide. Our hymns/songs are backed by the piano and guitar players, with our singing group. We are grateful to everyone who helps to make the new and old technology ‘work’ to allow the music and livestreaming to work so well.

Between 12 and 18 attend the Tuesday evening bible study and prayer meetings, that include mission prayers with occasional supporting DVDs.

Our church is used by the Hambrook Probus Club, as a polling station, as required by the local council, as well as for prayer meetings and the celebrations of the lives of loved ones who have passed.

**Events during 2024 include:** The ladies monthly coffee morning on the first Saturday of each month is held at a variety of interesting locations. The men’s film and pizza evenings. The ‘T from 2’ held on the second Friday of the month in the church where everyone can enjoy tea, coffee, cake and a chat free of charge. Our T from 2 team raised **£1,375** from the sale of homemade preserves, greetings cards, Christmas crafts and donations from those attending the Friday ‘T from 2’ afternoons. The funds are sent direct to Tear Fund.

We enjoyed a Harvest supper in October and a well-attended (passenger funded) canal boat trip in June.

**This years Bonfire party took place rasing £473.75.** Free food and drink were available and there were over 300 people at the event. The money raised was sent to INHOPE.

## **The Community Carols were also well attended, again free refreshments were provided, raising £173 again for INHOPE.**

Our Welfare fund remained at £1,450 during 2024.

Our Pastor David continues to publish the teaching text of the morning and evening services via email with printed copies available as needed. The congregation’s prayer needs are included.

Pastor David and Hazel, his wife continue to make home visits and call those who are unable to attend. They also host well attended and enjoyable church evenings at the Manse on the first Tuesday of the month.
