To promote community participation in healthy recreation by providing facilities for the playing of association football and other sports capable of improving health (i.e., land, buildings, equipment, and organizing sporting activities; 2. To provide and assist in providing facilities for sport, recreation, or other leisure time occupation of such persons who have need for such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, financial hardship, poverty, or social and economic circumstances, particularly those adversely affected by civil unrest, rebellion, or war, or for the public at large in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving their conditions of life; 3. To advance public education, in particular physical education, with a focus on children and young people, especially those displaced and traumatised by war, with a view to helping children and young people develop and grow to maturity as members of society by such means as the trustees think fit. ## **Summary of the main activities in relation to those purposes for the public benefit, in particular, the activities, projects or services identified in the accounts.** 1. Established the #StopOSAEC project in the Philippines, which is a nationwide football-focused intervention that aims to eradicate the Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) through a games-based and systems approach. 2. Supported by PLDT and SMART telecommunications, pocket Wi-Fi gadgets and prepaid internet load were distributed to Football for Humanity community coaches across the Philippines to enable online training sessions during Covid19 lockdowns for the purpose of educating coaches on Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children. 3. During Covid19 lockdowns in the Philippines, online training was conducted for community coaches to learn about psychological first aid and about delivering customized football-based programmes emphasizing children’s rights and Child Protection. 4. Distributed the remaining 100 unpoppable balls to Football for Humanity community beneficiaries in marginalized and conflict-affected communities all over the Philippines. 5. Conducted football activities for refugees and people seeking asylum in Manchester, England, to address mental health and inequalities in collaboration with RAPAR (Refugee and Asylum Participatory Action Research) under the ‘Football Freedom’ project, supported by Manchester FA, University of Manchester and No Borders MCR. 3 ## **Achievements and Performance** **Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole.** 1. Secured a grant from the Australian Embassy to fund the Stop Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (StopOSAEC) programme that will benefit at least 20 communities all over the Philippines. 2. Secured local partnerships with RAPAR (Refugee and Asylum Seeker Participatory Action Research), the Manchester FA and Greater Sport and Sport England to fund and develop the refugee-led ‘Football Freedom’ programme implemented in Manchester, England. 3. Secured international partnerships and sponsorships that expanded the Charity’s capabilities (social media strategies, field training, curriculum creation, human rights policies, child protection policies, etc.), namely Coaches Across Continents, SMART/PLDT, the Australian Embassy in the Philippines, PAGEONE/Advocacy Partners Asia, and the Department of Justice/Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking. 4. However, the Charity continued to function using online platforms and gained funding based on its innovative and socially relevant objectives.
