**Objects:** THE MAIN PURPOSES OF THE WOMEN&#x27;S INSTITUTE ORGANISATION ARE TO ENABLE WOMEN WHO ARE INTERESTED IN ISSUES ASSOCIATED WITH RURALLIFE, INCLUDING ARTS, CRAFTS AND SERENCES, TO IMPROVE AND DEVELOP CONDITIONS OFRURAL LIFE, TO ADIANCE THEIR EDUCATION IN CITIZENSHIP, IN PUBLIC QUESTIONS BOTH NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL, IN MUSIC, DRAMA AND OTHER CULTURAL SUBJECTS AND IN ALL BRANCHES OF AGRICULTURE, HANDICRAFTS, HOME ECONOMICS, HEALTH AND SOCIAL WELFARE. IT SEEKS F GIVE TO WOMEN THE OPPORTUNITY OF WORKING TOGETHER THROUGH THE WOMEN,S INSTITUTE ORGANISATION, AND OF PUTTING INTO PRACTICE THOSE ID.EALS FOR WHICH IT STANDS.

**Activities:** Alverstoke Womens Institute holds eleven meeting a year with speakers and a range of activities plus educational trips.  Fund raising is used to support organisations within our local community.  Social activities that benefit many members who would otherwise be isolated in the community.
