(2) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF MEMBERS AND THE PUBLIC IN THE PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICES OF CONSERVATION AND PROMOTING, ENCOURAGING AND CARRYING OUT STUDY AND RESEARCH FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF KNOWLEDGE IN THE NATURAL SCIENCES.(3) TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE INFIRMITY OR DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES OR FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.

**Activities:** Conserve, maintain and enhance the Avon Meadows site as a natural habitat using volunteers.Educate members and the public in the principles and practice of conservation.Monitor and maintain records of the fauna and flora of the site and its benefits of the wetland for flood alleviation and water quality improvement.Promote Avon Meadows as a community asset for Pershore.
