Due to the impact of the pandemic, we continued to hold monthly chanting and practise online. To support participants’ wellbeing, a qualified Chinese doctor who holds regular clinics at which patients receive treatment using traditional Chinese methods attended each meeting and provided free online consultations. 2. The Charity distribution centre continued to distribute books, candles and incense to individuals without charge. The Charity entirely relies on donations from the society and there were no business activities during the year. 3. Because the Covid-19 pandemic increased the risk of loneliness and isolation, we held a weekly children’s online reading club which provided a place for children to spend time together. The children enjoyed reading stories, had a discussion and played games with their friends. 4. Our online vegetarian cooking club helped people to cook delicious budgetfriendly meals, both vegetarian and vegan. 5. 6. Supporting Sangha hospital. 7. Saving animals. Supporting animal Sanctuary.
