T]ie l£ague of Friends continiie to function but with redLiced nunibers as members retire
or pass dway impaeting on what we are able to do. Donations to worthy causes have been
affected by chi￿geS to our bank account but this is beli￿ resolved.
The hi)spital cojitinues to lose local clinics as the niimber of medical staff drop and the
Integriiled Care Board are concentrating on providing staff for Ihe bigger lJo%pitals witli the
snialler ones losing oiit. Not only are the smaller local hospitals losing out, but tl)e people
of Hornsea are now havins to travel coIisiderable distances whereas these clini¢s had beell
l)roiight to tlie hi).8pital for the benefit of tlie loeal i)eople.
It was agreed tliat as Coffee mornings are not a viable option for raisins fui)ds, we would
not continlie with tl)eni. Membersliip numl)ers lire dropping as Ilie peoi)le of Hornsea
dvn't recognibe the availiibility of the hospital unless they use one of the clinics available.
We aim to pi'oinote the hospital and tlie League of Frieii(Ls more widely.
As aijdiology Clinics are no longer held at Hornsea Cottage Hospital, it was agreed that
items of atidi()l()gy equipmeiit i)revioiisly l)oiiglit l)y the t*c1gue of Friends would l)e given
to Castle Hill Hospital, if they pass current Standards..
The AGM was held with very little support coming from the publlc of Hornsea,
