OWECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
Purpo$es of the charity
The charity's obj¢¢t5 are to provide horse riding therapy to special needs children with trained coaches and
volunlecr helpers supported by school staff. Its aim5 are lo encourage self molivalion, increase confidence and
promote independence and self-esteem.
Actlvltle5 of the cbvdrlty
The pupils of Si Anihony's School. Chichester are offered horse riding as a part of the school's education
programme. Support staff and trained volunteers identify each child's special needs and work together towards
individual goals using a mix of mounted games and physical exercises on horseback. Stable managemenl and
hand5 on experi¢n¢¢5 were included with sirnple theory and vocabulary sessions. Children were encouraged to
work towards improving self confidence and social intera¢tion skills along with experiencing the physical benefits
i.e. balance and co-ordination. Trustees have had due regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on
publi¢ benefit.

ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE
Main acbievements of the ch4rlty
During the year, the group provided facilities, coaches and horses for up io 10 riders weekly during term time. The
group now opcraies from Goodwood. h8vin8 moved at the beginning of the year .
Children also experienced horse r¢lated a¢tivilie$ and theory sessions. Riders worked towards re¢ognised RDA
certificates of achievements and gained r05ertes for completion of half lerni sessions.
Sufficient funds were received via donations and group fund raising lo pay for use of horses and lo provide
cquipmenl and clothing for riders as needed.
The charity was also extremcly gralcful to receive a legacy from a friend of the group, of which the majority was
received in this year. The Iruslees are currently in discussion as lo how best to utilise this money in furtherence of
the charIt￿S objccls.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
ReTriew of flDanclal posltlo
The Chariiy has prepared its arxounls on a receipts and payments basis.
During the year, the charity received unreslricled income of £59.937 (2024: £5,743). The level of income
increased this year due to receipt of £55,000, being the majority of a legacy rnade to the charity. The charity spent
£6,342 {2024: £6,003) in respect of its activities and governance of the charity.
Given the level of income this year, the Charity has engaged a firn] of accountants to conduct an Independent
Examination of the accounts.
Reserves polley
Reserves are held at all times to covcr the next two years of cstimalcd running costs of the charity.
STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT
Governing document
The charity is a charitable incorporated organisalion which is governed by its ¢onstilution. It has been registered
with Ihe Charity Comrnission since 27 July 2017. It is the successor charity lo an unincorporated organisation of
the same narnc.

I report to the charity trustees on my examination of the accounts of Kingley Vale Group Riding for the Disabled
Association Incorporating Carriage Driving ("the charity") for the year ended 30 Sepiember 2025.
RepsoDslbilities and Basis of Report
As the trustees of the charity, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in a¢¢ordancc with the
requirements of the Charities Acl 2011 ("the A¢t").
I report in r¢spc¢l of my examination of the charity's accounts carried out under scclion 145 of the Act, in carrying
out my examination, I have followed all applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section
145(5Xb) of the Act.

I have completed my examination. I confirni that no material matters have comc to my altcnlion in connection with
thc cxaminalion giving rne ¢aus¢ to b¢lieve that in any material respect:
