ANNUAL REPORT 2023/2024
This financial year SOSW did not carry out any fundraising activities as in April 2023 the “cost of living crisis” was a real issue for most of the general public.
Here is a summary of the year. We started the year with a total of £461.94 in the bank. Throughout the year we received a total of £330.98 made up of £248.82 from Paypal Giving Fund, £22.16 from Amazon Gift Aid and £60.00 from an individual supporter.
We continued to help individuals throughout the year with advice on where to find help, particularily things like financial help. We have seen a few new groups come along with two groups in particular, one in Morriston, Swansea and one in Trallwn, Swansea. Three groups have benefitted from a grant of £260.00 that we allocated at the end of the financial year to help them continue their good work.
We ended the year with £10.00 in the bank.
Finally, the trustees of SOSW would like to thank all those for their support of SOSW, and ask that you all stay safe and healthy and take very good care of yourselves.
