D Summary of the maln achievements of the charity during the year Alembership- The dub has continued to retsin armd build a diverse rowing membership, with rower5 ranging in age from under 16 (Juniors) to over 50 (Super-vets) mairtsin a steady membership. The Club held a taster session as part of Looe's On the Waterweek. The club as focused encorying [r￿MberS under the age of 30 as this is a part of the club whith is low in numbers and fo¢￿SIng on the long-tenn viability of the dub. The Club has managed to attermd many competsbons this year, the Men's and Ladies Open ￿tiOnS doing well also the dub has worked on the lubs Vet sedions and again Saw some promising resutts at the World Championships, the dub continues to work in encouraging this section as it, this is in line with the thmographic of the Gig Rowing Community were the majority of participants is women over the age of 40. The junior section enjoyed participating in events and the club is continualty working towards buildirvJ on this overthe coming year. Rowlng General The dub is regulaty getting crews out on club evenings and Saturdays during the Summer and winter months, when the corrflitions a￿ safe to do so. but have experience a number of cancelled sessions to increase in weather fronts the effect our k)cal area. l the Clubs Committees and its members continue to work together to ensure wOcedu￿. equipment arKI buildings are in good working order and to ensure the rutes and guidelines they are governed are followed, The Management Commtttee are working on holding Heath and Safety training for all members and also plannirwj to hokl a 111 aid training day for coxes. Communlty The Club continues to support and where possible parb'cipate in local events and ￿MainS grateful for the continued support it receives for the local communty.
