Section D Achievements and performance Membership- The dub has continued to retain and build a diverse rowing membership, with rowers ranging in age from under 16 (Juniors) to over 50 {Super-vets) maintain a steady membership. Another successfvl Leam to Row Course was held this year. Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year CompetitsonEvents Attended The Club has managed to attend many competttions this year, the Men's and Ladies Open sections doing well also the club has worked on the clubs Vet sections and saw some promising results at the World Championships. the club continues to work in encouraging this section as it. this is in line wtth the demographic of the Gig Rowing Community were the majoiity of participants is women over the age of 40. The junior section enjoyed participating in events and the club is working towards building on this. Rowing General The club is regularly getting crews out on dub evenings and Saturdays during the Summer and winter months, when the condttions are safe to do so. but have experien￿ a number of cancelled sessions to increase in weather fronts the effect our local area. All the Clubs Committees and its members continue to work together to ensure procedures. equipment and buildings are in good working order to ensure the rules and guidelines they are govemed are followed. Communty The Club continues to support and where possible participate in local events and remains gratefvl for the continued support it re￿IVeS for the local communty. Finances The club has a healthy reserve which has been in part ring fen￿d for the development and repairs of the gig sheds and trailer parking. Also plans are in pla￿ in regards to financing the recondrtioning of the plastic training boats and our wooden racing boats which have a strong historic connection with the local communty. The dub continues to be greatly supported by donations and grants from other local organisations which assists the club in maintaining a affordable membership to our members.
