**Objects:** THE PROMOTION OF GOOD HEALTH AND RELIEF OF SICKNESS AMONGST UROLOGY CANCER PATIENTS IN THE ISLE OF WIGHT AND SURROUNDING AREAS, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY PROVIDING:I) NON-MEDICAL SUPPORT TO LOCAL UROLOGY CANCER PATIENTS, THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS; RAISING AWARENESS OF UROLOGY CANCER AND IT'S TREATMENT; AND PLANNING ACTIVITIES TO CREATE OPPORTUNITIES WHERE THIS CAN TAKE PLACE.II) A REGULAR FORUM FOR UROLOGY CANCER PATIENTS, THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS, TO DISCUSS ONE-TO-ONE OR OPENLY, THEIR EXPERIENCES OF THE CANCER AND THEIR TREATMENT; FURTHER TO DISCUSS GENERALLY THE CANCER SERVICE PROVIDED ON THE ISLAND AND ON THE MAINLAND.III) A DIRECT LINK BETWEEN SERVICE PROVIDERS, THOSE COMMISSIONING SERVICES AND PATIENTS, THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS

**Activities:** To offer a context in which members (partners and carers) can expect friendship, compassion, practical and emotional support on either a one to one or a group basis.  In addition the Group will take opportunities to raise awareness of prostate cancer.
