Builds up the capacity/skills of minority ethnic organisations so they can deliver better services to the particularly but not exclusively disadvantaged communities in Merton Borough and its environs. It works to advance equality of opportunity and is a reliable point of reference for data on BAME communities. It promotes activities which foster understanding between people of diverse backgrounds.

Objects: The Charity’s Objects Are To Build The Capacity And Skills Of Minority Ethnic Organisations, In Order That They Can Deliver Better Services To The Particularly But Not Exclusively Socially And Economically Disadvantaged Communities In The Local Government Area Of The London Borough Of Merton And Its Environs, (Hereinafter Called The “Area Of Benefit”) In Such A Way, That They Are Better Able To Identify And Help Meet Their Needs, And To Participate Fully In Society.”nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The Charity For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With Section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 And Section 2 Of The Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008
