## **WINGS Trustees Report 1st January-31st December 2022**
WINGS began following a gathering in 2010 at Bawtry Hall aimed at increasing time spent seeking God. This led to conferences at Bridlington Spa and the Lion’s Roar Meeting, with people gathered from different parts of the UK to seek the Lord. As this grew it needed a covering structure to develop the ministry and WINGS (worship and intercession for the nations to bring good in the Spirit of Jesus) was born.
During the calendar year of 2022 Chris Lyle stepped down as a trustee in September and Gina Middleton joined the board in November.
In November 2021 WINGS became a CIO and applied for a new bank account with Barclays, which is still outstanding by the end of this year.Financially our situation has changed little.
This year WINGS has focused on the coastlands, with various prophetic meetings, including the Hear and Encounter/ Awakening the Coastlands meetings, because we believe that the Lord has His Hand on the coastlands. Rob has met with the leaders around Scarborough area and is planning a coastal event based in Scarborough with Jonathan Oloyede leading.
WINGS has focused on the East Coast and has set up prayer meetings initially in Eastfields and Bridlington and then expanding to Filey and Hunmanby. The aim is to extend them along the East Coast.
WINGS has also initiated Spirit of the Coastlands, which aims to facilitate places to access the Spirit of God (Holy Spirit Renewal days). It is focused on people where the services locally are very traditional and there is little opportunity to encounter the presence of God.
WINGS has run 3 conferences with opportunity for leadership growth and development as well as open sessions with worship and workshops.
For the next year, we plan to continue focusing on the East Coast aiming to develop monthly coastland meetings and gathering leaders together as well as Holy Spirit Renewal days in rural churches. WINGS also plans a prayer event in March 2023 to celebrate what God had done in the 200 years since John Knox was in Filey.
