## **1. Objectives and Activities** 

The charity’s aim is to share traditional Chinese culture in the UK, especially through the traditional Han Chinese clothing Hanfu. 

In accordance with our governing document, the trustees have continued to work toward achieving these objectives and ensuring that all activities provide public benefit as required by the Charities Act 2011. 

## **2. Achievements and Performance** 

This year, we focused on maintaining a strong community and strengthen our existing collaborations. We co-hosted large scale events, consulted on Hanfu related creative projects, organised for volunteers to help in cultural work in England. 

In November, we organised for volunteers to represent Hanfu in the World Travel Market (WTM) 2025’s China booth. Introducing the beauty of traditional attires to the world.

In Feburary 2025, to celebrate Chinese New Year, we collaborated with Camden Market to deliver a Hanfu fashion parade at the market’s Chinese New Year celebration 

weekend. Our volunteers attracted much new interests in the Hanfu attire.

Also in February, we collaborated with Zoe Filliigree Studio, an independent studio in London offering workshops on several of China’s Intangible Cultural Heritage crafts, to deliver a lantern making workshop in celebration of the Lantern Festival.

In September, our volunteers helped to dress Leona in Hanfu for her speech at University Arts London (UAL)’s summer graduation ceremony. Leona is a Chinese international student and newly elected Student Union president, who chose Hanfu to be her outfit while delivering the student representative’s speech to graduates. Her Hanfu look was appreciated by attendees of the ceremony and friends of Leona’s. Showcasing Chinese fashion attires as young students. 

We concluded the year with new friends, new collaborations, new interests in Hanfu fashion. Most importantly, a stronger community and more confidence in our outreach missions. We will continue to follow our remit and expand our reach in the upcoming year. 

## **3. Financial Review** 

The charity had no income or expenditure during the financial year. All events were either organized as volunteering events. For workshops and events in collaboration with a third party, relevant costs and income were dealt with by the third-party company. We offer our organisational effort for these events on a voluntary basis. 



The closing balance remains at £0.00. 

## **4. Structure, Governance and Management** 

The charity is run by a board of volunteer trustees who meet as needed to discuss governance and future plans. 

During the year, there were 5 trustees in post.
