so that the Trust is able to provide awards

The Trust (charity) had no debts which fell
due and had substantial cash and equity
funds at all times during and also at the end
of the accountin
ear.
The Trust (charity) does not have nor need
a policy on reserves. It only distributes
capitsl out of its cash and equity fvnds to
charities registered as tharities by the
Charity Commission of England and Wales.
It does not have any paid employees, nor
an
debts.
None.
The Trust keeps a cash float with its bank
and the balan￿ of its funds are held by an
independent investment manager, split
between an equity fund and a bond fund,
with some additional cash. All of the funds
held by the investment manager are
capable of being converted into cash at
short notice to meet the Trusfs
commitments for charitable awards. The
investments are made on a conservative
basis, are subject to regular reviews and
the Trust has effective systems to help to

the Trust Deed, New trustees will be

The original trustees are all legally trained,

qualified solicitor working at a major
London fimi of solicitors. The trustees are

aware of the trustees, obligations to the
Trust.
Future trustees will be thoroughly briefed
by the existing trustees on the Trust's
requirements, its aims and the Trust's

becoming a new trustee.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended **18 / 05 / 2024** . 

- **Responsibilities and** As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation **basis of report** of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. 

## **Independent examiner's statement** 

I have completed my examination.  I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect: 

- accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act or 

- the accounts do not accord with the accounting records 

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
