Chair’s Annual Report
It has been another frustrating year for the Trust because of the failure of the site owners to make progress towards the conclusion of a S106 Agreement with the Planning Authority. Surprisingly, the site owners allowed the Planning Consent they had received to lapse.
It has also been a very sad year with the death of one of the Trustees, Mr Tim Castledine. Tim possessed a huge amount of knowledge about the site and its history, and that of the Butterley Company. He is missed.
Looking forward, the Trust hopes to liaise and work with all interested parties about the future development of the site.
